Based on feedback from our members, and the meeting of The European Esports Federation (EEF) delegates in Iasi, EEF represented by its board issues the following statement:
EEF respects the democratic process and the subsequent decision taken by the General Assembly of the International Esports Federation (IESF) to reinstate the Russian Esports Federation (RESF) into its competitive fold. While we respect the governance mechanisms of the IESF, we wish to express our disagreement with the outcome of the vote. We want to assure our member organizations and stakeholders that EEF is committed to adhering to its suspension policy towards RESF, due to its alleged involvement in the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, as approved by the EEF general assembly on 29.10.2022 in Stockholm.
