Two days of thrilling matches, incredible esports action, and immense challenges are behind us. More than 30 of the best EA FC24 players from the region and Europe competed for the prestigious title and valuable prize. The event was supported by numerous delegates, international esports representatives, media, and young enthusiasts whose presence contributed to the positive atmosphere throughout the tournament.
The final match between the national teams of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina was filled with tense tactical moves and exceptional skill. The team from Bosnia and Herzegovina deservedly took the victory with a score of 3:1, while Serbia finished in second place. In the battle for bronze, Moldova triumphed over Luxembourg.
This esports tournament, organized by the E-Adriatic League with the support of the European Esports Federation, brought together teams from countries such as Portugal, Georgia, Turkey, Moldova, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia, setting new standards for esports. The Nations Cup proved that esports is not just a competitive platform but also an event that inspires young people and creates opportunities to promote fair play and sportsmanship.
“The response to the tournament was exceptional, especially considering this was our first Nations Cup. With around 30 participants from the region and across Europe, we’ve proven that we’ve created an event recognized by the top esports players. We are proud to have hosted talented competitors who, through their fair play and outstanding games, raised the standard of the tournament. Their participation confirms that the esports scene in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the region, has enormous growth potential,” the organizers stated.
In addition, we spoke to a representative from the Georgian Esports Federation, who expressed his excitement about the opportunity to showcase his gaming skills on an international platform. He noted the intense competition throughout the tournament, stating that any team that emerges victorious will have truly earned their win.
Congratulations to the winning team from Bosnia and Herzegovina for claiming the first Nations Cup trophy, and to all participants for showcasing their talent and sportsmanship. Esports is just beginning to write its history, and this is only the first step towards many future successes!
