EEF PARTNERS WITH HEALTHYGAMING TO STRENGTHEN WELL-BEING IN EUROPEAN ESPORTS

Busan, 11 February 2026 – The European Esports Federation (EEF) has entered into a partnership with HealthyGaming, an organization running development, education and well-being programs dedicated to promoting the health and well-being within the gaming and esports communities focused on prevention, intervention, and certifications across physical, mental and social health advocacy, awareness, education, research and support. The Partnership Agreement was signed during the World Esports Summit. This partnership will enable EEF to strengthen its efforts to improve the well-being and the support for athletes, professionals, member federations and other key stakeholders in the esports ecosystem through development, education and certifications through state-of-the-art initiatives specialized for esports.  This partnership also extends to research projects that will support the development of evidence-based guidelines for healthier gaming practices, along with joint participation in strategic and operative federational initiatives to propel the esports industry forward.

The signing was witnessed by HRH Prince Omar bin Faisal, AESF and IESF Board Member, and Elin Yoojung Moen, EEF Vice President.

This partnership will continue to work towards strengthening the esports federations and create a healthier esports environment that puts great emphasis and importance on responsible gaming while contributing to a fruitful and prosperous esports ecosystem.
